Because of the geographic location in the tropical region not far from the equator, Thailand is naturally prosperous, rich in biological diversities, and abundant in natural resources. This gift from nature has contributed to the well being of people in this country for centuries and it, therefore, an invaluable legacy of the nation.

Thailand is the home to various species of flora. Knowledge of the usage and health benefits of herbal medicine has become the valuable “ancient wisdom” of Thailand, which has been passed on from generation to generation.
